The QMGS quality mark is intended to give the buying party and the end user certainty of quality, durability and safety.
You won't be able to see the difference, but with the QMGS product you are at all times assured of a high quality product.
This concerns a set of requirements for the product in terms of chemical, physical and phytosanitary aspects. These are parameters that say something about the quality and safety of the potting soil. If the product does not meet these requirements, the QMGS quality mark may not be used.
In addition, potting soil must have been produced at a production location that acts in accordance with ISO26000. This is an international guideline for the structural implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in an organization.
All producers who wish to carry the QMGS quality mark must meet strict criteria. Compliance with these criteria is monitored by Control Union Certifications an independent and globally operating testing institute.

Every year, two external audits are carried out by means of an audit (critical examination of current business operations), one announced and one unannounced. In addition, an internal audit must be carried out at least twice a year.
